My costume is based on Lynda Carter's classic 1970's incarnation of Wonder Woman. After all, it's not really a superhero costume unless you can recreate it at home during a slumber party, using Underoos and a towel...
In order to give myself some options, I made leggings as well as the briefs from the classic outfit. I purchased my bracers and crown from a craftsman at Dragon*Con (they were probably the most expensive part, but totally worth it).
The first time I wore this costume was actually on TV! Fox 4 was kind enough to invite us into the studio for an interview on "The Morning Blend." There were no serious wardrobe malfunctions, but I did learn that my crown needs to be clipped into my hair more securely in the future.
