I made these dresses for my sister and me to wear at Dragon Con 2015 (although I was so busy I didn't get photos until almost a year later).

They are based on Simplicity 8028 - I say "based" because significant modifications to the pattern were required, to obtain anything approximating a good fit. (I lost almost five inches from the length of my costume due to the fit modifications.) I would not reccomend this pattern. But the costumes turned out great in the end, and I finally got a chance to use my phaser prop. Keep scrolling for photos...
